Research activities

The IT Platforms Design and Development Unit has been carrying out several research activities, in particular in the areas of mobility management systems in urban and suburban areas, systems for the digital management of legal documents and for the air quality data processing and diffusion.

Particularly active and profitable have been the co-operations with Universities, research centres and Standardization Bodies, through the preparation of degree thesis, the provision of scholarship grants, stages and scientific co-operations. The Company carries out a steady co-operation with the main relevant academic and institutional national centres, among which the Politecnico di Milano, Consorzio Milano Ricerche, Università degli Studi di Milano, CEFRIEL. The co-operation with Standardization Institutions, among which TTS Italia and VGR, takes place though the active participation in workgroups relevant to the topics of interest for the Company.
