Automatic Incident Detection (AID)

This approach is aimed at increasing safety and security levels for drivers and infrastructure managers. Events such as stopped vehicles, counterdirection vehicles, presence of pedestrians are automatically detected through digital processing of video streams. Also traffic condition (fluid, dense, congested) can be continuously monitored.

Project Automation has gathered a significant experience, having successfully carried out several project with the application of AID to important motorway stretches, typically integrated with a surveillance system.
